Bloke Rods over the past year have been developing a new range of Spey Rods based around an entirely new hybrid Carbon blank made to our specifications. We began designing this rod with the help of Mick Bell, the Founder of Bloke Rods, before he passed away and so in his honour, we've named the rod the Trebuchet MkII MGB. The complete rod can be found HERE.
If you'd prefer to build your own personalised version of the rod, then we are pleased to also introduce the blank only. This is supplied entirely blank, no components and no graphics.

Introducing the Trebuchet MkII
Our new rod is lightweight, moderate action and incredibly easy to cast, opening up this rod to any user from beginner to expert.
The Trebuchet MkII Blank is supplied in its own high quality cloth bag.
The Rod works extremely well with any of our Spey/Switch lines which can be also be found on this site, the line in the video is THIS LINE in 8/9wt.

A truly fantastic rod blank. I bought the blank for my son to build me a new rod. The rod is absolutely stunning quality and has an amazing action when casting. Built this rod and fished it for the first time today, very pleased with the rod action and power, managed to catch a 2 lb Sea Trout and 8lb salmon and it handled the fish very well.
