This Tippet Material is very strong for the Diameter, so much so they could be moved to the next weight band up for the diameter.

I have personally used this material almost exclusively for the past 3 years and have experienced no issues what so ever with this, very strong, supple tippet material, whether it be stalkign wild browns on dry fly in the local rivers, or lure fishing for "stockies" in ponds or reservoirs. Not great knot strength

I was disappointed with the overall strength of this line. I tested against my current Wychwood leader of the same strength and and lost 2 fish when the leader just snapped for no reason.

Though must say that this is the first Rede River product I have not liked.

Hi Philip, if you've not already, try a different knot, for joining droppers to leaders I use a figure of 8 knot and attaching flies I use a Davey/Double Davey knot and only had issues where I've had either a wind knot or where the line has been damaged. I've found with other Fluorocarbon materials on the market they can be sensitive to certain knots, especially when it comes to how they cinch down
