The Long Haul fly line has a short head, so all the weight you get from a typical fly line has been condensed, meaning you will quickly load your rod. This also means you only need a short back cast to get the most from it, which is also helpful where there is restricted space.

This line is therefore a very capaple tool for all anglers, novice to advanced.
We would recommend using the line weight suggested on your rod when buying this line. So if your rod is a 7wt, we recommend using a 7wt line.
Please note, for various reasons, there are no welded loops on our lines any longer, they are now supplied with mini braided loops.

I have 2 rods built on Bloke blanks and I use them every week. I still can't believe I didn't try them before??? As they are now two of my "go to" rods and are permanently set up in my holdall. As for The Rede River fly lines I currently have two a floating and a long haul 4ft sink tip I love them both. I'm a bit of a tackle hoarder so I can't say I 'll never buy any other fly line? But I'll never pay more than the cost of a Rede River again!! That's for sure!
Another great lines cast really well does not tangle and great in all weathers hot or cold. A few of my friends have now bought this line and also think that its one of the best lines they have used.
Decided to replace my Airflow 3 ft fast tip. Wow what a difference. Zero memory straight out the box. Casts like a dream. Went for 5# which I found perfect match for my 5# Loop Cross SX. Great line at a great price.
brill line . if your after a 40+ type line this is it but without the airflo memory . just like all his other lines
Casts well, nice balance. Appreciated the line colour contrast which was really useful in challenging conditions.
I changed to this line on the recommendation of a friend and it's the best buy I've made this year I've been using rio and cortland line's but these are a lot better in performance as well as saving a few quid in used it on Thursday the 30th and it was a pleasure to use

As good as any mega expensive line, I will replace all my lines with Rede River when the time comes.
