Based on our extremely popular Long Haul fly line, the Long Haul Mk2 has been upgraded.....in every way.
It is still very easy to cast. But now it is even better to fish with and is even more durable.
We have redesigned the head, but the new line retains the same dynamics as the old line, all the weight you get from a typical fly line has been condensed into a shorter more manageable head that will quickly load your rod. This also means you only need a short back cast to get the most from it, which is also helpful where there is restricted space.

We would recommend using the line weight suggested on your rod when buying this line. So if your rod is a 7wt, we recommend using a 7wt line.
Please note, for various reasons, there are no welded loops on our lines any longer, they are now supplied with mini braided loops.

Alan recommended this line for me as I have a bit of a bad shoulder and find it difficult to make much distance in my casts when I have been fishing a while. This line makes nice casts and even though it is weight forward once you have got used to its characteristics you can land it in nice clean loops. I have had other more expensive so called easy to cast lines and this outperforms them for me and my rods. Thanks Alan
I was looking for a new Intermediate line and having previously bought a Mk2 Long Haul floating line I decided to give Mk2 Intermediate a try at a competition. The line did not dissapoint. Casting is effortless with just 2 or 3 back casts it is possible to shoot the entire line. On the water the line lays flat with no memory. Overall a great line.
I have purchased many Rede River fly lines, IMO they are fantastic value for money and the delivery service is prompt and assured. This is the third different weight RR intermediate line I have bought, they never disappoint!
Bought as a Xmas gift along with a foaming WF 6wt , I know the lines are good because my son has purchased some of your lines and told me how well they cast, along with the rapid delivery what’s not to like about this splendid fly line.
I’ve had a number of intermediate lines that didn’t quite that either didn’t sink, sank unevenly, coiled like a spring or cast well.

Best line I've tried in a long time. Running line has no memory as does the main line. Loads rod quickly and shoots well. My usual line is Cortland or Rio but this is ,in my opinion, as good as these and better at less than half the cost. Delivery was prompt too

I tend to now buy all my Fly lines from Rede River as they are just about the best lines I have used also Alan gives honest advice as well Sure you can buy Fly Lines at a lot more money else where that do exactly the same job. But for me pesonaly I do not need to spend my hard earned money on Labels when I can get quality service here. Thankyou Alan keep up the good work.
I bought 2 of these lines one for a friend. They do exactly as they say sink evenly at 1.2 seconds and it does it parallel. easy to cast 2 false cast and over 60ft of line is cast out. Great for those days when the cross wind drags your floating or sink tip at a rate of knots.
Tried this line after being sick of paying loads for well known brands and I will never look back now , outstanding quality and price , better value and quality then all other brands by far , highly recommended
