Rede River Long Haul Mk2 Intermediate Fly Line - Designed in the UK
Based on our extremely popular Long Haul fly line, the Long Haul Mk2 has been upgraded.....in every way.
It is still very easy to cast. But now it is even better to fish with and is even more durable.
We have redesigned the head, but the new line retains the same dynamics as the old line, all the weight you get from a typical fly line has been condensed into a shorter more manageable head that will quickly load your rod. This also means you only need a short back cast to get the most from it, which is also helpful where there is restricted space.

We would recommend using the line weight suggested on your rod when buying this line. So if your rod is a 7wt, we recommend using a 7wt line.
Please note, for various reasons, there are no welded loops on our lines any longer, they are now supplied with mini braided loops.

Alan recommended this line for me as I have a bit of a bad shoulder and find it difficult to make much distance in my casts when I have been fishing a while. This line makes nice casts and even though it is weight forward once you have got used to its characteristics you can land it in nice clean loops. I have had other more expensive so called easy to cast lines and this outperforms them for me and my rods. Thanks Alan
I have purchased many Rede River fly lines, IMO they are fantastic value for money and the delivery service is prompt and assured. This is the third different weight RR intermediate line I have bought, they never disappoint!

I was looking for a new Intermediate line and having previously bought a Mk2 Long Haul floating line I decided to give Mk2 Intermediate a try at a competition. The line did not dissapoint. Casting is effortless with just 2 or 3 back casts it is possible to shoot the entire line. On the water the line lays flat with no memory. Overall a great line.
Bought as a Xmas gift along with a foaming WF 6wt , I know the lines are good because my son has purchased some of your lines and told me how well they cast, along with the rapid delivery what’s not to like about this splendid fly line.
This line is absolutely amazing, so easy to cast, perfectly straight. The only downside is that it lacks a few extra meters of line. If it was 32 meters long, it would be perfect for me.
