Based on our popular floating lines, the 9ft sink tip was born and it’s as easy to cast as it’s floating partner.
The Long Haul fly line has a short head, so all the weight you get from a typical fly line has been condensed, meaning you will quickly load your rod. This also means you only need a short back cast to get the most from it, which is also helpful where there is restricted space.

This line is therefore a very capaple tool for all anglers, novice to advanced.
We would recommend using the line weight suggested on your rod when buying this line. So if your rod is a 7wt, we recommend using a 7wt line.
Please note, for various reasons, there are no welded loops on our lines any longer, they are now supplied with mini braided loops.

This is just as good as the 4ft sink tip and casts just as well, but with the 9ft sink tip you get a little deeper in the winter period. You ned 2 to 3 false casts to easily get 60ft of line out. The 3 lines I use are floating, sink tip 4ft and 9ft and they do everything I require.
I’ve not. tried this line yet but hopefully be as good as all other rede river lines i own. Dispatch and postage times were very good.

The long haul lines are excellent- I now have several. They are easy to cast, seem to last well and are half the price of the main competitors. Delivered fast as always.
