Introducing yet another popular rod in our range without a wait for it to be built. Here we have our 8'6" XL50 5wt 4-piece finished in deep Burgundy which really pops in the sunlight. This is a seriously high performance blank manufactured from Toray 50 million modulus carbon fibre.
Finished with a plain half wells cork grip, a black reel seat with burled spacer and black and gold Pack Bay stripping guides. We have rung the rest of the rod with black double foot snake guides and wire tip top guide. The rod comes in a dedicated cloth bag.
This rod is a delight to use on small stillwaters and rivers and has produced some fantastic specimen Brown and Rainbow Trout over the years from the likes of Pennine, Dever and Lechlade Fisheries, so you can rest asured, it's not afraid of a battle.
