Bloke XGNP 14' Spey rod blank.
Finished in sage green, this blank has a lovely middle to tip action and is manufactured from a mix of Toray and GWX carbon fibre. This is a a lovely blank and produces really long, smooth casts.

I was asked to build a Christmas present for a friends son, so we chose the XGnP 14' 9/10 as he fished the mighty Dee and Tay.
It's first outing was to officially open the River Dee, and so it appeared on national TV as well as the River Dee Trust website.
As for the rod, we tried a few lines, but settled on a Loop Tactical #10 line that cast beautifully with the rod when wading. It has a lovely, "catapult" action that sends the line out sweetly.
Highly recommended, ling casting and smooth..

I've two of these in different weights. They are truly excellent, Smooth forgiving casting rods but powerful. No problem once a fish is on they seem to just reduce the drama . Best I've used.
